Arranged Guided Fishing Charters

Located just an hour from the Plantation off Hilton Head Island is one of the most prolific fisheries on the Eastern seaboard. The diverse and rich estuaries in the Port Royal Sound as well as the Calibogue Sound draw large numbers of Tarpon, Red Fish, Sea Trout, Cobia, Flounder, Sheepshead, Shark and other species. Woodside counts two of our dear friends as two of the best charter captains for low country fishing.

Captain Fuzzy Davis
Silva Dolla Charters

For near and in shore fishing it does not get any better than this. The Captain personally holds the South Carolina state record for Tarpon (he even fly fishes for them) and has been recognized by Salt Water Angler magazine as one of the top 50 charter captains in the US. Fuzzy has been stalking Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, Cobia and Sheepshead in the salt water creeks, rivers and sounds near Hilton Head since 1972. Fly casting or standard rigs, he does it. All that and we think he’s a great guy as well.

Captain John Brackett
Sweet Pea Charters

Our off shore expert is Captain John. Want to catch a really big fish? Brackett is your man; Grouper, Cobia, Shark, Bull Reds, Tarpon, Amberjack and King Mackerel all habitat the near shore wrecks and reefs that John calls his office. One of the most eclectic guys you’ll ever meet, John is an accomplished photographer (he took the pictures for this web site and a gifted jazz musician.
